Alleged Car Thief "Butt-Dials" 911

Police say an alleged car thief's series of
accidental 911 calls and his "phenomenal bad fortune" led to his
eventual arrest.
On March 14, a Valley Communications dispatch
operator answered what appeared to be a 911 "pocket dial," or accidental
phone call.
The operator could hear several men speaking,
though it was obvious they didn't realize there was an open line. After
listening in on the conversation for several minutes, the operator realized the
men were speaking about stealing cars. [continued]
